Setting Your Mark

We’re nearing the end of 2013 and here are a few questions  for you. Did you make a promise to yourself or to someone else, to save more money, lose weight or to get more involved in the community? Or did you write a vision for your future? Regardless of what you set out to do in 2013, the question is, did you take action?

“Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned.” ~ Peter Marshall

On a movie set the Director shouts, “Quiet on the set.” That’s the cue for everyone to get ready. A marker is called to identify the scene, everyone takes their places then the Director shouts, “Action!” Now maybe in your situation you got your cue and you  knew what you wanted to do, with an idea of what the result should be. Somewhere along the way the scene changed and you should have taken action but you were hindered; you didn’t make the cut. You developed a bad case of the shoulda woulda couldas. It’s hard to accept our short comings and disappointments but hold your head up because you tried and trying is taking action. Your goals are not set by a calendar; it takes time to make a dream a reality. Go ahead and gather your thoughts while you gain new perspective and get ready for the next scene. Set your mark and stay focused… you know what’s next, ACTION!

Casually speaking and all the best,
