Deep Breathing

I’ve always been fascinated by people who can control their breathing underwater for long periods of time without using a breathing apparatus. Training to inhale lots of oxygen takes practice. Similarly, when we face struggles in life and feel like we’re sinking underwater we have to remind ourselves to control our breathing. You know those moments when fear grips you and holds you tight…you tell your feet to move but they stand still…you want to speak the words but your voice is silent. Yet somehow you find the courage to break free from what you imagined was holding you back. Inhale and take a deep breath then slowly exhale. Your mind begins to clear and taking control of yourself again the fear fades away…now you can move forward.

Always take time throughout your day to JUST BREATHE!

Casually speaking and all the best,
Mercedes
