July is here and this month serves to remind us that we’re at the halfway mark for this year; only six more months left for 2011. Every month there have been twenty-four hours in a day and seven days in a week, but what have we done with our time? Has anything that you’ve done in the last six months been memorable or impacting? Some of us might have accomplished many things and others, maybe not much at all, but the good news is that it’s not too late. We often start out with good intentions and then somewhere along the way we hit a stumbling block, lose focus or sometimes other things take priority and we simply forget. Walt Disney said, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
We know there’s not much that we can do to change what’s already happened, but we can focus on the fact that there are so many possibilities for the future. Each day brings new opportunities, just like fruit on a tree, it’s already there, ripe and ready, just waiting for us to pluck it and sink our teeth into it. Remember, July can quickly turn into November before we know it, so don’t wait on time to do something, because time isn’t waiting on you. Tic-toc, tic-toc…there goes time again.
All the best,
