Sometimes losing is a good thing. The extra weight that creeped on over time or getting rid of old baggage that has weighed you down mentally. We often hold on tight to sad memories or painful experiences because of deeply rooted emotions that bind us to them. It’s good to reflect at times and grow from the past, but holding on to the hurt only prevents us from moving forward. I foolishly trapped myself to a situation that had long since ended, until I realized that I wanted to be free. I had to lose the anger. Mind you, there’s still a trace that still lingers, but I know soon that trace will be replaced with something better.
